I retain my pride in the Lib Dems, whatever the ‘prejudice’ of Colin Firth

So, Mr Darcy has thrown his toys out his celebrity pram and is no longer supporting the Lib Dems.
Or, Colin Firth at least.
He’s flounced out of the party, it’s reported.
How will we ever cope now?
Why is some actor deciding he no longer wants to support us considered to be news by the BBC and others?
With respect, who cares?
If he’s that bothered about student’s having to pay higher tuition fees maybe he’ll reach into his own pocket and fund a student’s tuition for a year or two.
Who’s he going to support now, do we think?
Labour? Oh no, they brought fees in in the first place. The Tories? Darn it, they support them too.
Maybe he’ll join the ranks of the almost totally irrelevant and powerless and become a Green.
In summary, I couldn’t care less who Colin Firth supports…we can’t let celebrities take over politics like they have almost every other aspect of our lives.
Despite the tuition fees issue-difficult as it is-I support the Lib Dems and remain very proud of the party.
Whatever the apparent prejudice of Mr Firth and others.
